2 Day Akagera Big Five and Hot Air Balloon Safari
This is a short safari tour package that leads you in Rwanda’s famous wildlife destination ‘’Akagera National Park’’. The big five safaris in Rwanda will lead you on game drives in Akagera National park. You will be able to watch the big five animal species like lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes and leopards as they go about their daily activities in the wild. In fact, you will also get to see other herbivores as they co-exist with the big five and if you’re lucky, you will watch the carnivores as they hunt their prey in the wild.
Then after, you will go for the hot balloon safari where you will be rewarded with aerial view, which is worth an encounter.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Akagera – Full Day Game Drive
Early at 6:00am, either at your hotel in Kigali city or Kigali International Airport, our safari driver guide will transfer you to Akagera National Park. On arriving at the park, drive straight to the park for Akagera National Park giving you a chance to spot variety of animals’ species and different attractions. This will be done in two sessions – morning and evening game drive. After an amazing morning game drive ,have breakfast to enjoy picnic lunch and later in the evening ,go for another game drive to watch more species or do a night game drive which will give you opportunity to see nocturnal animal species like leopards ,lions ,hyenas among other carnivores can be see catching their prey in the wild. After ,connect back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Safari and Departure
Start your day safari encounter at 5:00am, you will make your way to the meeting point for your hot aie balloon flight. This experience gives a great aerial view of the park’s remarkable savannah plains and different drainage features in the wild. You will be able to watch carnivore hunting their prey as you enjoy the cool breeze. After this memorable safari experience, you will get to land for your fantastic bush breakfast which will be enjoyed as you get excited with rewarding views around.
Thereafter, make your way to Kigali city, where you will be dropped at your hotel in Kigali or at any place advice. End of the tour.
