Canopy walk takes about 2 hours; it starts and ends in Nyungwe forest, Uwinka tourist reception center.
There are 200m walk along the forest trail with thick canopies viewing nature before it takes before proceeding to the top of the forest.
Some of the primates include L’Hoest monkey, Blue Monkeys, Black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and many more. Children below the age of 6 years are not allowed however above that age they must be escorted by the adults.
The activity costs 60 USD per person it takes pace throughout the year, since it’s a rain forest anytime it can rain one needs to carry their rain coats. Hiking shoes, the briefing center provides walking sticks, the hike takes only 2 hours.
