Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park
Upon arrival at the Airport, you will meet up by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to Akagera National Park, which is located in eastern part of Rwanda. The journey to the park estimate 2 hour and 30minutes.
On arrival, you will embark for a guided nature walk, after drive to connect to the Akagera Game Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will head for a canoe ride on Lake Ihema to watch aquatic animals like Hippos, crocodile and water bird species like papyrus Gonolek, shoebill stork, African fish eagle among others. Return to the lodge for delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National Park ‘’4 to 5hrs’’
Have hot breakfast, then after go for the early morning game drive to see wildlife including elephants, impala , black-tailed mongoose ,hippos ,oribis ,bushbuck ,zebra ,cape eland, giraffes ,buffalos as well as home to primates like the olive baboon ,vervet monkey ,bush baby many more. Thereafter, drive out of Akagera and drive to the border for clearance to transfer to Bwindi Forest National park in Uganda for gorilla trekking. Have dinner and overnight stay at Four Gorilla lodge –Mid range

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Transfer to Musanze in Rwanda
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge, meet the driver guide to transfer you to the park headquarter for briefing about gorilla trekking rules and regulations. Thereafter, you will proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla trekking can last between 30minutes and 7 hours, depending on the gorilla movement. On finding them, you will be allowed an hour to spend with them as you enjoy your packed lunch and capturing memorable videos.
Note; Your always advised to carry packed lunch from lodge, gorilla trekking duration of time is unpredictable. Later transfer back to Musanze, dinner and overnight stay at Migano Hotel & Café.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Kigali Airport
Wake up have breakfast on leisure and then transfer to the Volcanoes National Park head offices in Kinigi by 7am. You will be briefed about golden monkey tracking rules and after go meet up with the ranger guide to lead you through the trail head in and outside the park. You will enjoy great views of the mountain scenery and the bamboo forest. Once you find them, follow them as they feed, swing on tree branches as well as capturing videos.
After a great encounter with the golden monkeys you will return back to the lodge to have lunch and thereafter, rest bit and be transferred to Kigali Airport to your onward flight back home.
