Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
You will depart from Kigali, then go visit some of the historical sites en –route. The sites to visit include; Kamegeri Rock, the King’s lunch in the afternoon and drive to Gisakura. Arrive at your booked hotel, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk
You will have an early breakfast at round 5am, thereafter, drive to the meeting point for the briefing. After trekking which can last between 1 to 5 hour and an hour provided to the trekkers to spend with this great ape in their nature environment, learning about their behave, feeding, habit as well as capturing memorable photography.
Later, go for canopy walk, which is done along a 50 meter above ground and 200 meters long. The dizzying platform is above a steep, deep valley across a massive forest. The canopy walk experience allows visitors to view different animals species, colorful birds and various primates species in the Nyungwe Forest National park. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and then proceed to Karongo. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Visit Lake Kivu /Depart to Kigali
After a visit to Lake Kivu for boat launch experience and a visit to Napoleon Island. You will be transferred back to any advised place. End of the tour.
