Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Golden Monkey Trekking
Start with pick up at your agreed location by our safari driver guide ‘’at around 6:00am’’, brief you about safari and then transfer to Volcanoes National Park. At around 7:00 am, arrive at the park head for the briefing you about the tracking. Then after, meet with the park ranger to lead you through forest trails in search of the most active primates in their nature habitants. Once you approach them, you will be allowed an hour with them to observe a lively troop of 40 – 100 golden monkeys as they leap and play in the trees.
After lunch, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to explore gorilla conservation efforts. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Lake Kivu
Wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast, go meet your driver guide to drop you to the park headquarter for briefing about the do’s and don’ts of the Rwanda safari. After briefing, go meet the park ranger to accompany you through trailhead to look out for these gentle giants. The trekking can take about 1 to 6hours and once they are located. You will be given an hour to spend with them, observing how they survive, feed, play, groom themselves and enjoying taking unique photography. Back to the lodge relax, enjoy delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Mountain Biking /Depart to Kigali
On your last day of the safari, you will explore beautiful countryside on a quality mountain bike, with helmet and gloves provided. You will traverse scenic and small village tracks, immersing yourself in local life, meet up with residents and observe local farming. You will be guided by a skilled guide who will tailor the ride to your preference, offering easy, moderate.
