Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Drive to the Hotel
Depending on your point of location in Kigali or at Kigali International Airport, you will be received by our safari driver guide who will give a warm welcome to a beautiful land of thousands hills and later drive you to the hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight depending on your landing time from Airport. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
After a delicious breakfast from the hotel in Kigali, your driver guide will pick you up from hotel. Then be transferred to the park. The park lies in southwest of Rwanda and have stop on the way for visiting the royal palace museum in southern province. You will also have an opportunity to get to know the history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans with en-route lunch. Then, proceed to Nyungwe National Park have leisure in evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking
Have an early morning breakfast served at lodge with delicious snacks, you will meet with the driver guide and drives you park headquarter for a short briefing about chimp trekking rules. The trek can take 1 to 4 hours, depending on their location and on finding them, you will be given an hour to spend with them as you learn about the behavior, feed, play and capturing video.
After a fantastic encounter with these great apes. Our driver guide will drive you back to the lodge for evening leisure or option –go for tea plantation tour. We recommend to carry packed lunch from the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Colobus Monkey Trekking and Canopy Walk
After a morning breakfast, our driver guide will drive you to the park office for briefing before you embark into forest trail in search Colobus monkey and enjoy them. Once you allocate the, follow them as they swing on tree branches. You will enjoy picture taking and later, return back to the lodge for lunch, as you get ready to go to the canopy walk as a very high bridge in the park, offering a chance to have a better view point of the park and gainful sight – seeing. After, connect back to the lodge for dinner and overnight night stay.

Day 5: Depart to Kigali
On your last day of 5 Day Nyungwe National Park Safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, followed by check out of the lodge and the park. Depart back to Kigali. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel in Kigali or at any place of your choice. End of your 5 Days Nyungwe National Park with Discover Africa.
